The Coastal Data System is the network of wave monitoring buoys the Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (DETSI) runs off the Queensland coast. Each buoy records wave height, period and direction and the sea surface temperature every half hour.

The publisher keeps one portal dataset per buoy and adds one CSV file for each year. Each entry here follows the newest year file for one buoy. Seven buoys are held so far. Earlier years stay on the publisher's page.

Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation releases these 7 tables as one dataset on its portal, so every table here shares the version date 2026-02-19. Each table has its own page with a format picker, a field list, a sample record and its version history.
