EPA Beach Report water quality
liveEach summer, from September to May, EPA Victoria samples the water at 36 Port Phillip Bay beaches and tests it for enterococci, a bacterium found in faeces. The results feed its Beach Report, and the full record of samples since December 2013 is released as one workbook.
Two tables are here. One holds every sample result with its beach and time, and the other the beaches themselves with their water body and coordinates.
Environment Protection Authority Victoria releases these 2 tables as one dataset on its portal, so every table here shares the version date 2026-10-03. Each table has its own page with a format picker, a field list, a sample record and its version history.
Also called: EPA Beach Report enterococci data, EPA Beach Report site list, Melbourne beach water quality history, Port Phillip Bay beach bacteria results, Port Phillip Bay monitored beaches.
