The Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development publishes the mapped extent of major historical floods in Queensland as polygon layers of its Flood extent series, served from the state's map service.

Each table is one flood. A polygon marks the approximate area under water when the source imagery or survey was taken, which may not be the peak. The department recommends the layers for use at about 1:5,000 to 1:10,000 and warns they are not a prediction of future floods.

Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development releases these 8 tables as one dataset on its portal, so every table here shares the version date 2011-01-13. Each table has its own page with a format picker, a field list, a sample record and its version history.
