Open https://publicdata.au/d/qld-school-details/latest/data.csv. It redirects to the newest dated version, which is https://publicdata.au/d/qld-school-details/v/2022-09-12/data.csv today. The same path serves Excel, JSON, GeoJSON, Parquet, SQLite, DuckDB, GeoPackage, GeoParquet, NDJSON, Arrow. A dated URL never changes, so use it when the file must stay the same. ### Can I open State and non-state school details in Excel? Each row is one open Queensland school, state or non-state, with its centre code, type, year levels, contact details, street and postal address, education region, electorates, council area, ABS SA2, remoteness, a student count and its latitude and longitude. ### How current is it? The file was last replaced in September 2022 and its student counts are from the July 2019 census. The department's online Schools Directory is kept current. ### Why are the student counts blank for some schools? The department gives student counts for state schools only. Non-state schools have a blank count, and so do a few state schools. ## What this site did to the data Cells were typed, headers were renamed to snake_case and the encoding was made UTF-8. Rows were left alone. Nothing is derived.
