# Explore Permanent additions by country of birth, Australia, 1996-97 to 2016-17

An interactive dashboard over Permanent additions by country of birth, Australia, 1996-97 to 2016-17, worked out in the browser with DuckDB-WASM and Perspective from the Parquet file of a dated version. It needs a browser; an agent is better served by the query API or the files on https://publicdata.au/d/au-permanent-additions-by-country/index.md.

The dashboard state sits in the URL fragment. A saved dashboard is at https://publicdata.au/d/au-permanent-additions-by-country/explore/?view=<id>, and POST https://publicdata.au/api/v1/views stores one. The frame for embedding is https://publicdata.au/d/au-permanent-additions-by-country/embed/?view=<id>, read-only unless the address adds &edit=1.
